China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association (hereinafter referred to as CIQA), approved to be set up by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China, is a non-profit making nationwide social organization composed voluntarily by enterprises, institutions, related mass organizations and personages engaging in the work of entry-exit inspection and quarantine in the country. CIQA possesses an independent legal personality and carries out its activities according to its Constitution. Activities of CIQA are subject to professional guidance and supervision and administration of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) of the People's Republic of China. The headquarter of CIQA is located in Beijing, China.

The objective of CIQA is to unite personages from enterprises, institutions, social organizations and all walks of life at home and abroad devoting themselves to the cause of entry-exit inspection and quarantine in China, in observing the national Constitution, laws, regulations and state policies, in adhering to the social morality and custom, to play a full role of being a link and bridge between government and membership under guidance of the competent department, to offer good services to the state policy of opening to the outside world and economic development of the country via endeavoring promotion in protecting health of entry-exit persons, safety of industrial and agricultural production, and promoting quality of import-export commodities.
