China International Fruit & Vegetable Fair
2014 Post Show Report
After China FVF from Nov. 14 to 16, 2014, this exhibition plus conference event has established its position as the No. 1 Fresh Show in China. The vision of China FVF is trade, communication, innovation and technology. Exhibitors get information, increase trade, build up relationship, and receive feedbacks.
A total of 227 exhibitors from 19 countries/regions presented their products during the three-day event in Beijing. The total number of exhibitors has seen a 35% increase. The number of international exhibitors increased from 37 in 2013 to 137 in 2014, with a 270% increase.
We gladly welcomed first-time exhibitors from 9 countries/regions in 2014. They have selected China FVF as their first step to access China market. China FVF is the only event that exhibitors can ship in samples without protocols. This has quickened the process for many products to obtain protocols.
7218 professionals and buyers visited China FVF 2014, with a 141% increase from the previous year. Geologically, we have stepped further from focusing on the two traditional port cities: Guangzhou and Shanghai. Exhibitors met with buyers from 22 provinces in China. In terms of buyers' business model, we have also stepped further from the existing first-hand importers to engage businesses planning to import directly and those buying from the first-hand importers. This has created more business opportunities for international exhibitors who used to sell to agents.
China FVF 2014 has drawn wide media attention. In addition to our 45 plus established long-term media partners, the event was covered by 16 newspapers, 14 TV stations, including 4 CCTV channels, 18 websites, and 1 radio station. AQSIQ officials and officials from 16 embassies and foreign government departments attended the opening ceremony and visited the stands.
Our priority is promoting the exhibitors. We have designed a whole set of marketing package, including website, social media, and long-term media partners to spread industry information and to promote the exhibitors all year round.
Exhibitors Comments
It was good to get up there and see how things worked and my feedback is that it was an excellent show and will continue to evolve into a premier event.

The presentations of business possibilities were very informative; meetings and discussions with the Chinese producers and exporters were productive and promising.
-- George Bezumatov, Executive Director, APIEFP
We see this as a very important event for us because together with other countries, we have become one of the major exporters.
-- Carlos Parra, Minister Counsellor Agriculture Affairs, Embassy of Chile
With our accumulated experiences in 6 years, our focus on China market, our resolution to serve the industry, and with the supports from the government, China FVF is your right choice to step into China market and grow. We look forward to working with you in our coming show which will be held in Beijing from 9 to 11, Sept. 2015 !
